Leighton Denny Hydra-Flex Treatment Trio Review

7:52 am

Today I will be doing a product review on the Leighton Denny Hydra-Flex Treatment Trio. If you have been reading my blog from day one, you would have seen the post I wrote around December time telling you that I was trying this product out.

If you would prefer to watch the video of this review, scroll to the bottom of this post.

So In the pack you get a leaflet which tells you how to use each product, how the products work together and also a list of commonly asked questions.

The next thing you get is a serum, which has a pump to apply the product.

The next thing you get is a shield. This is the nail strengthener and has a normal polish brush to apply the product with.

The last thing in the pack is a nail polish remover. You replace the product you normally use to take off your nail polish with the Leighton Denny one.

For the past couple of years I have been trying out lots of different types and brands of nail strengtheners and treatments and I have not yet found one that has worked. My nails were in a terrible condition from having acrylic nails on for a long period of time and I could actually bend my nail the opposite way it was that weak!

For christmas last year, my mum bought be this Leighton Denny nail treatment so I thought I'd try it out. I've been using this treatment since 26th December 2012 and I havn't been using anything else on my nails except some oil from BodyShop and some Nails inc hand cream.

Before I start telling you the things I liked and didn't like about this product, I'm just going to give you a brief explanation of how you use this product.

1.Remove any polish from your nails using the Leighton Denny Nail Polish Remover.
2.Give your nails a mini manicure.
3.Massage the Leighton Denny Serum into your nails and cuticle. Leave it for around 10 minuets before moving on.
4.Apply the Leighton Denny Shield. Leave it to dry then apply another coat.
5.Apply the serum every night and repeat the steps once the polish starts chipping.

I also cut my nails down when they started to grow to help get rid of the weak parts.

So now I'm going to talk about what I liked about this product. The first thing I liked was that It doesn't take long to dry. I absolutely hate waiting for nail polish to dry, so this product was a bonus. The second thing I liked was that the products last ages. As I said I have been using the products since December last year and there's still some left in all of them as you can see in the pictures. Another thing I liked is the design of the bottles, especially the shield one as its looks really posh and expensive.

The last thing I liked is the fact that the product actually works. This is the first nail treatment/strengthener out of loads that has actually worked! My nails are no longer paper thin and they don't split very often like before either. I have noticed a big difference in the condition of my nails since using these products.

Now I'm going to talk about the things I didn't like. The first thing I didn't like is that when you get near the end of the bottle of the shield, it starts getting sticky, which makes it hard to apply. The second thing I didn't like is that when your nails start to grow, the polish chips really quickly. But apart from that, it was a good product.

You can buy this treatment from the Leighton Denny Store for £22. They also sell each product separately. The Shield and Serum are £11 each and the Polish Remover is £6.74.

I would defiantly recommend this product as It really works!
