My Best and Worse Bikini's of 2013

9:34 am

Seen as the holiday season has started, I thought I'd do a post on my bikini's I wore on holiday and rank them 1-5, with 1 being the best and 5 being the worst. So lets get started...

This bikini is my absolute favourite. It fits brilliantly and I never had to re-tie the side of the bottoms once throughout my holiday. The padding in the top didn't seem to move when I was getting in and out of the water, only when I got home and it went in the washer. The bikini top fastens with a clip/hook. I would totally recommend this bikini!

You have to buy the top and bottoms separately. The top is £6.99 and the bottoms are £3.99, which is a great price for such a great bikini.

I bought this bikini because I loved the skull feature. I hadn't seen a bikini like it in any other shop. None of the diamantes had fallen off buy the time I got it home, which is great as I don't have to throw it away! The top ties at the back.

Like the last one, you have to buy the top and bottom separately. The top is £15 and the bottoms are £10. What's great about buying them separate is that if you didn't want to pay £10 for a pair of bikini bottoms, you could buy a cheaper pair of black bottoms from another shop. I would recommend this bikini.

This bikini had a strap that went around your neck, but I don't like neck straps on bikinis as you get strap marks, so I converted it into a bow. The top ties at the back. The padding in the top didn't move, even after being washed which was good. The fabric coming off the bikini bottoms lost its shape on the right side (left side on the picture) which looked a bit odd as the other side was perfectly curled.

I can't remember whether I bought this bikini separate or not and I can't find it anywhere on the next website. I would recommend this bikini.

I really liked the pattern on this bikini, which is why I bought it, but the padding totally let it down and is the reason it's second from last on my scale. When I had the bikini on, I found that I was forever pulling the bikini so it covered my chest. It seemed to want to gather in the middle all the way along. The next time I wore it I thought "lets take out the padding and see if it's any different." Unfortunately that made it even worse and I didn't wear it again!

You can only buy this bikini separate. The top is £15 and the bottoms are £10, which is a total rip off for such a badly designed bikini top. I would not recommend it.

This bikini is so pretty and I really liked the button saying "FC" on both the top and bottoms, but because the hook of the top snapped on the first day of me wearing this bikini, it gets a ranking of 5.

Again, this bikini comes separate. The top is £24 and the bottoms are £22. It's way over priced to say the top broke before I'd even wore it a whole day!

So there you have it my best and worse bikini's of 2013. It just shows you that not the most expensive ones are necessarily the best. I hope you liked this post and if you have a favourite bikini, feel free to leave it in the comments box below.
