MAC Malt Eyeshadow Review

9:00 am

MAC's Malt eyeshadow is described as a "pinkish-beige" colour, which is totally right. It is a matte eyeshadow with no glittery bits in, which I love as I sometimes find shimmery eyeshadows can be a little bit too much. I like to pair this eyeshadow with the colours Embark and Mulch for a brown smokey eye, but because it's quite a warm colour, it would work with most colour combinations.

Malt is such a lovely shade that suits most skin tones and can be used for a variety of things. Because it's a neutral matte eyeshadow, it can be used as a highlighter for the brow bone, a base colour for the eyes or to highlight the inner corners of your eye. I love shades that can be used for a variety of things, as you really get your moneys worth.

This eyeshadow is very pigmented which is quite unusual in paler colours. It seems to stay on my skin most of the day and it blends with other colours really well. It feels lovely and soft on your eyes and it is really easy to remove at the end of the day.

I would defiantly recommend the MAC Malt eyeshadow to anyone who's looking for a good neutral eyeshadow to add to their collection. You can purchase it from any MAC counter or store for £13/$16 for the eyeshadow in the pot, or £10/$10 for the eyeshadow as a refill for the MAC palettes.
