GHD Aura Hairdryer Review9:00 am
Aura is ghd's latest hairdryer model and is a lot different to the previous model, Air. Unlike Air, Aura is a lot longer and comes with only one nozzle.
Aura has two new breakthrough innovations in technology; Laminair and Cool-Wall. Laminair enables you to focus on one section on hair, without disturbing the hair around it. This is because it delivers a 42% more concentrated stream of air than other dryers. Cool-Wall keeps the outer casing and nozzle cool to touch, meaning that you can get closer to the root when drying.
Unlike other dryers, with Aura you can make your hair smooth, straight and shiny, with lots of volume because of the technology that comes with the hairdryer. The best thing about ghd's new hairdryer is that it is 27% more lighter and quieter than their previous dryer. When the switch is turned on, the hairdryer gradually turns on, then off again once the switch is pressed again. I think this is a nice touch to the dryer.
The only problem I have with the Aura hairdryer is that the wire is really long and the external power supply is quite bulky. This makes the hairdryer hard to fit into kit bags because it takes up more room.
Overall I would defiantly recommend the ghd Aura as it stylish, professional and gives you a more comfortable styling and drying experience. You can purchase it from ghd for £145, which is a lot of money, but it is defiantly worth it.
Have you tried the ghd Aura yet?
